My wife and I were watching the powdered fall as she was shifting it with a strainer and spoon. We both thought it would look like a great Christmas card.Editing
The only post processing was to bring up the contrast levels.In my camera bag
My every day carry kit consists of the Nikon D5100 with Sigma 18-250 lens, speed light, spare battery, extra memory card, and my tripod.Feedback
The two hardest parts were getting the right shutter speed and the right angle. I feel the best way to accomplish this shot is to fill the frame with shifter and bowl. One angle I did not try was to shoot down into the bowl as the powdered sugar fell.
