Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a game cruise when we took a family holiday on Lake Kariba in 2015

Time

This was an afternoon boat ride, so probably after 4pm.

Lighting

Not really

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3000 with a 50mm lense

Inspiration

I love taking wildlife shots, and trying to find the angle that is just right to make it slightly different. it doesn't always work out, but this time it did!

Editing

This was originally a colour image, so all I did was convert it to black and white, very little other colour adjustment happened.

In my camera bag

I am an holiday amateur, so just my camera, and 2 Nikkor lenses, a 70-300mm and a 55-200mm.

Feedback

Use your initiative, and always look for the angle that is going to best showcase the animal (or focus) in your photo
