I want to show the lioness with her prey in the bush. Many photographers - me included - often tries to capture an Animal als close als possible. Not in this case: i want to show the lioness in her natural habitat. So I ordered out driver to go backwards. Than I waited till the lioness raises her head. Now you can see her blood covered mouth.Editing

Use the best light in the morning and evening. Take a good position. Take a long lens to get an good angle. Eye Level. Think about composition, take the main subjekt out of the centre. Be patient and wait for the right moment. The right moment normally was very short. Therefore you must react fast.
