Location
The Image was taken at Leslie dam Queensland AustraliaTime
Late in the Afternoon on sunset just after the sun had disappeared behind the hills.Lighting
This was a pure opportunistic shot of one of my dogs Tiger sitting in the water watching the sunset of a soft purple hue lighting up the sky a couple of minutes either way and it would have been a completely different shot.Equipment
Canon 600d attached was a Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 wide angle lens, mounted on a tripod, also a polarizing filter attached.Inspiration
I go out to the dam most days to exercise my dogs and take photos while there. I was set up to take a sunset shot when i looked around and seen Tiger sitting in the water watching the sunset so i swiveled the camera around on the tripod adjusted the setting and snap a great shot.Editing
I shoot in RAW and i done a few minor tweaks in After Shot Pro but this shot didn't require too much it was pretty good out of the camera. In my camera bag

Be prepared to change at a moments notice for that opportunistic shot
