Natural Light 2

The Northern Cape province in South Africa is well known for it's unpredictable weather patterns with heavy thunderstorms in it's very hot summer months. It is also well known for some of the most glorious sunsets you can ever witness. With this wedding I was incredibly lucky to have both simultaneously. The effect of the dark and heavy clouds rolling in and the sun setting at just the right moment behind me created a studio like lighting. No editing of colours were needed in this photograph except for some sharpening, a bit of extra exposure and some contrast to illuminate the lightning flashes in the background.
