To take photographs of children is an art in it's own right. I believe it is also very necessary to capture them just the way they are. With filthy little hands and hair out of place. We also need to remember them in this perfect state, not just polished for the camera. Their wicked little smiles and twinkling eyes give more emotion to photographs than that of adults who have learned to hide the stories they do not want to have told.
