Behind The Lens

Location

I collected this little piece of "Silver Dollar Plant" along the side of the road in outback Queensland, intending to use it in a dry arrangement, but, when I held it against the rising sun over Alexandra Headland (Qld), it turned to the most amazing golden colour....I only use a point and shoot camera and am just a very amateur photographer with the love of nature

Time

Like many of my images, this was taken at the sunrise hour from my balcony

Lighting

I do love using the sunrise as a background for close up images.....it gives such a natural light

Equipment

I have been using Panasonic TZ series cameras for a few years as they have excellent Leica lens and wonderful zooms and fit easily into my handbag for a quick "point and shoot"

Inspiration

My love of nature inspired me to take this image

Editing

Occasionally I use post processing just to adjust colours
