Wave rock, a granite cliff is 15 met high and 110 met long, is a rounded shape caused by weathering and water erosion, believed to have formed 2700million years ago and is part of the northern face of Hyden Rock....given it's name because of the appearance of a breaking wave, the colours are caused by rain washing chemical deposits (carbobates and Iron hydroxide) down the face
