This is a photo of one of the most popular events at the Tour of the Gila as we watch the stars of the future ride their bicycles, tricycles and sometimes even scooters as kids of all ages take to the streets of historic downtown Silver City during the Downtown Criterium.
Helmets must be worn and parents or guardians must sign registration for children under the age of 18. Free t-shirts for all participants, which makes each participant a winner before the race. Podium awards for the awarding of medals are held after the races.
