The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train made a stop in Hastings last night, but I wasn't able to get there. After some searching online, I found that it was also going to go to what was listed as "Shoreham, MN". Not knowing where Shoreham was, I found out that the CP rail yard in Northeast Minneapolis was called Shoreham Yards, and that was where the holiday train was going to be at 8pm.

There were about 800-1,000 people there, but it didn't feel crowded. I was listening to people talk to the crew who were working the yard (who were great and friendly), and found out the end I was at was where the train would be backing into. Not wanting to be at the back of the train, I headed towards where the front of the train would be.

Willy Porter & The Claytones played in the stage car they had, which I also have a couple shots of (which I'll post later). But it was a decent night with temperatures where you didn't have to worry about freezing after being outside for two minutes.
