It was overcast with a bit of cloud texture.

Nikon D300 with a Nikon 28-70 f2.8 lens, and a 6-stop b+w ND filter.

Inspiration

I've always wanted to capture an "iconic" shot of the historic Split Rock Lighthouse.

Editing

This was edited in Camera RAW from the original RAW file. Contrast, exposure, blacks, saturation have been edited.

Nikon D800, Nikon F100, Nikon 28-70 f2.8, Nikon 16-35 f4, Nikon 105mm micro, several ND filters, wired trigger.

Feedback
