Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo of my daughter in my front yard garden at my home in North Ridgeville, Ohio USA.
Time
The photo was taken in the early morning.
Lighting
I used an external 430EX Canon Flash with a Gray Fong Diffuser.
Equipment
Photo was taken hand held, no tripod. Camera: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi Aperture: f/2.8 ISO: 200 Exposure: 1/125 External Flash
Inspiration
I take a lot of photos of my daughter, she is my muse and is always willing to pose for me, the shot was taken just after a rain storm and I loved the color and the drops on the leaves.
Editing
There were slight lighting and color adjustments made in Photoshop.
In my camera bag
Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi, Canon 60D SLR, Canon 24-70mm 2.8, Canon 70-200mm 2.8, 430EX Flash, Gary Fong Diffuser, Tripod, Lots of Batteries and Data Cards.
Feedback
Natural Lighting is great, but an external flash bounced or diffused can do wonders for portrait work, it adds that sparkle in the eye and warms the skin tones.
