this is an absolute rockstar of an image! Love the silhouette and yet the detail and the whole atmosphere you captured here! And the execution is amazing as well! Great work!

Location
The picture was taken during sunrise at the special location in the the north of Israel call Hachula Valley. There are thousands of cranes that migrating before the winter to warmer area and during that period you have a chance to see this cranes group stay in our area, fight for their food and for a place to park and get some strength before their next trip. I wake up in the middle of the night to get the first light before sunrise - but the result was worthwhile...Time
This is one of my favourite photos - great colours of sunrise with thousands of cranes birds around me generate this wonderful frame.Lighting
During the sunrise - there are a very few decisive moments with great light before the sun is really show and only the starting light of the day is coming up.Equipment
Nikon D300 + 70-200 Lens 2.8 + tripod to enable me to take a sharp image with a very low light.Inspiration
There are many nature landscape that had been taken in Africa during Sunrise that gave me inspiration on this image.Editing
A little bit of contrast and WB.In my camera bag
More wide lens and macro lens as well.Feedback
Sometimes you need to wake up during the night in order to get the first light of the day which make some magic from any nature landscape you met during the day...
