Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Time

This photo is one of my favourite photos. I walking near Azriely Center in Tel-Aviv,Israel and it was already start getting dark and another evening is coming.Everybody coming back from work but when I looked over the bridge with all the heavy traffic at night I saw the big potential of this picture. I put my camera on my tripod and start dealing dealing with a long exposure... the result was astonished.

Lighting

When you want to make long exposure ( a few sec) you need to wait to full darkness) or use ND filter to reduce the light. In this case I just wait for the dark...

Equipment

I use my camera Nikon d7100 with lens of Nikon 17-55 2.8 and put the camera on tripod to be solid for long exposure of 10 sec...

Inspiration

The leading line of the traffic versus solid line of the bridge (above the train station) can make the analysis of the main two parts of our life : Moving fast vs. stay solid...

Editing

I imporved the image with some white balance, raise some contrast and sharpness a bit

In my camera bag

my Nikon camera and several les (most of them are Nikon as well)

Feedback

The great picture is always on your backyard... you don't need to travel all the time to take excellent picture but sometime you just need to look around you and the great image might be very close to yuor backyard , way to work/home or around your nighbourhood.
