I clicked this beautiful moment near Athirapally Falls situated in Kerala, India. This majestic falls is nicknamed as "The Niagara of India" !!Time
I had spent the whole day at the falls enjoying the gushing waters. While I packed my bags in the late evening for the descent, I noticed a small boy blowing the soap bubbles near the parking area. I lost no time in capturing it.Lighting
The light was marred by the trees partly creating a light and shadow effect. This actually heightened the beauty of the bubbles.Equipment
I used my Canon SX 130 IS for this snap. I had the Focal 20-08-45 tripod. But I didnt use it for this shot.Inspiration
Generally bubbles fascinate me. There is no specific reason why I get attracted to it. When I saw the small boy blowing the soap bubbles, I was amazed to see the bubbles in clusters. Spontaneously I captured the bubble bunch!!Editing
Yes, I worked on the shadow effect a little though I am not a big fan of post processing. In my camera bag
I carry a Canon EOS Rebel T3 along with Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II and Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6. My compact Canon SX 130 IS comes in handy during my several adventurous trips. Apart from this I carry the ever reliable Japanese Focal 20-08-45 tripod.Feedback
The light and shadow effect on the bubbles was the most important feature.Patience to capture the correct moment at a great speed is very essential. The photographer must checkout the various angle that would enhance the beauty of the subject.
