As usual, masterful composition and treatment - you do have the technique I love, Ronda. I esp like the 2 pops of red (barn and tractor) and the fence weaving throughout the shot

Great leading line and you can't get a better red barn than this. Fine image, Rhonda.

This photo was taken in Maryland near Sugarloaf Mountain. I was driving past on my way to the mountain and it caught my eye.Time
Mid-morning.Lighting
All natural light outdoors.Equipment
I used a Nikon D7000 with my Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens. No flash was used or needed.Inspiration
The line of the driveway, the fence and the big red barn caught my eye. It was an appealing composition with the heavy clouds and blue sky.Editing
I did post-process this photo in Photomatix Pro.In my camera bag
A Nikon D7000 camera. Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens, a Nikon AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G lens and a micro lens, the Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Lens. I recently purchased a Fujifilm XT-1 camera and have been using that of recent with a Fuji 18-135mm lens and a 55-200mm lens.Feedback
Always keep your eyes and your mind open when looking for a good landscape photo op. A wide angle lens is key to capturing an all-encompassing landscape shot. Balance and lighting are also important so keep that in mind when looking through that lens. Is there a glare? Does the glare enhance the shot or hinder it? Is there an object that impedes the flow of the shot? What is it that you want people to focus on? Just a few things to keep in mind when looking through your lens.
