It's so cute, and a relation between siblings is indeed something special. It's something that you haven't any choice in but is a present from your parents. And a good one for sure, or at least in my case.
Anyway, great capture Emmy and welcome to the viewbug community. I hope you feel right at home :)

Location
This photo is actually taken on a walk I took with my kids just a few minutes walk away from our house. As always I brought my camera in case there would be a great photo moment like this one!Time
This photo was taken in the afternoon on a weekend when I felt the kids needed to get some air, around 3 PM. Since it was in the fall, the sun set quite early and the light is great around that hour. I remember thinking that I really loved the light and the mood that was given that day. Just the right amount of sun without it being to dark or bright. These is really my favourite condition to shoot in and I try to grasp every chance I can get.Lighting
I am not a big fan of really bright light. I like the subtile tones and this day I got just all that. The calm and beautiful fall light had just the right strength and softness closing in the scenery.Equipment
My favourite combination is the Canon 6D och and the Canon 135mm f/2.0. I feel that I get a beautiful depth of field with that equipment while shooting on f/2. And this is also the setting I used for this shot. I very rarely uses flashes and tripod is just not working while shooting kids. At least for me. I try to let them be themselves and then I just walk aroung with my camera trying to catch what they are doing. Most of the time that works really well.Inspiration
My kids are really my biggest inspiration. They are so pure and so funny to shoot. You can never expect what they are going to do. I actually have another shot from the same photo shoot where both kids are loosing balance att the same time and the younger one splashes down with his hands in a big pile of mud. It's so cute and so real. For this photo I asked my daughter to give my son a kiss since they were being so well placed on the road and the light was just perfect. And I am thankful she did what I asked her to do since I am truly in love with this shot.Editing
I try to post process as little as I can as I try to look for natural conditions. I do shoot in RAW though so I always tend to do some sharpening and I enhance the colors a bit since it would be a bit blend otherwise. I also gave this photo a little more depth with some more blackness and contrast and added a bit of a yellow tone to the background to enhance the lightning. My photos usually takes about five minutes to process in Lightroom. In my camera bag
When I take my bag with me I pretty much bring everything I have. That means my Canon 6D and my Canon 70D combined with my Canon lenses 25-105mm, 50mm 1.4, 70-200mm, 135mm, 75-300mm and 100mm macro. I also have some ectra batteries, an extra card and two filters for Long Exposure. But that is mainly when I go out to shoot landscapes. For photos like this I usually just bring my Canon 6D and 135mm and sometimes also the 70D with the 50mm attached to it.Feedback
If you want to do shots like these you pretty much have to focus on finding the right lens for you. The 135mm is a fantastic lens that is really sharp and fast. Equal results kan be achieved with a 70-200 or 85. It is also important to make sure the background is pretty clear. The further distance you have to the background the more depth and unfocused background you get. So you have to think of the composition. I really like having open roads in the background since I know that will give me a great depth with no obsticles. Also try to make sure the background is surrounding the objects you want to be in focus. The trees in the background gives this shot a great dark feeling to it. It would have been a completely different shot if you for example saw the sky. When shooting kids I would also advice to get down to their level since it gives them more focus in the photo and just let them be kids. Watch them play and encourage them to do things and then wait for the right moment to appear.
