Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in winter of my daughter Stephanie. We had just enteted in our car and I turned with my camera and took the shot.

Time

This was around early evening just when the light shows a hint of dimming

Lighting

The ligjting was all natural no flash no filters

Equipment

Shot was taken with a Canon 80D lens I had on at the time the shot was taken was a pancake lens. No flash all natural night

Inspiration

It was the way the light was hitting her and the way her face was framed in the soft fur. I found myself lifting the camera without even thinking about it

Editing

I did nothing. I didnt want to take anything away from it being all natural

In my camera bag

Canon 80 D...external flash and 6 lenses but i find my favourite for portraits is the pancake lens and the 40 and 50 mm

Feedback

I am a self taught photographer who happens to love it with a passion. I find that I do not go looking for shots but what i do find that the shots jump out at me. That is when i find I lift my camera without even thinking about it
