Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a hot steamy night from my Columbia vacation. They have great little patches of solitude that totally change the appearance at night. Totally safe to walk around.

Time

This was at 11 at night. One of many centers where life is still thriving at that hour

Lighting

The lighting was all shadows from the closed stores and street lamps.

Equipment

Had brought along my very old Canon camera as I didn't want to drag my new one on vacation, was my Canon Ti (old old lol). Had used my new pancake lens from my canon 80D.

Inspiration

The shadows cast an eerie glow and shapes in this little area. I found myself reaching for my camera

Editing

I changed the raw shot into Jpeg and blurred the background more to my liking so that the bench popped

In my camera bag

My Canon 80D. On vacation I bring my pancake and 50 m lens because I love the crispness of the end results and my favourite old 250 zoom lens.have your camera ready.

Feedback

Have your camera ready these shots are never planned. Only takes a second for the lighting or shadows to change and have a great shot pop out at you.
