Thank you Father John...I was actually driving home heading East on a country road and saw in the side view mirror this awesome site...so I quickly pulled over, climbed down an embankment into a cornfield to capture some corn tassels in the shot. I'm glad you like it.

This photo was taken along a rural country road in upstate New York in a cornfield....Time
After work one evening, I was driving home heading east as I normally do on this very rural road and just happened to look in the rear view mirror and saw how red the sky was. I quickly jumped out of my car and said how great it would be to capture the corn tassels before the corn is cut down for the winter so down the embankment I went and into the cornfield with my dress clothes and shoes on and snapped this shot.Lighting
The sky was soooo magnificent that night with the beautiful colors I couldn't pass up this shot. Just me and the camera for this shot.Equipment
I believe it was taken with either my camera phone or my small digital camera without a flash or a tripod.Inspiration
Because we do not have many sunny days versus other areas of the country, when a sunset like this is seen, it's an amazing show stopper for me. I just take a few minutes out of my busy day to enjoy it and after I took the shot, I just stood in the road by my car enjoying it until the sunset disappeared over the horizon...Editing
As an amateur, I don't know much about post-processing and how to do it. The only thing I play with is Instagram to accentuate the object or colors or make black and white but other than that my photos are as you see them. Real true colors. Living in upstate New York after coming from the suburbs of NYC, the sky is so blue during certain times of the day. I mean really blue. I just am amazed how blue the sky is in some of my photographs in this area of New York. So...no need for post-processing as you call it.In my camera bag
I consider myself a person who likes to take photographs and not a photographer like people on Viewbug. I have never had a lesson and still do not know all the symbols on the new camera I received at Christmas this year and how they work therefore I don't see myself as a photographer. In regards to your question, I didn't know photographers had a special bag. It's just me and the camera...Feedback
I've noticed with myself starting out that one day I just started to have the eye for taking photos (as people say to me) because I have lived in this area for about 18 years now and never noticed these barns and old cars before until a few years back when I started to see things differently when out and about. I usually go out as the sun is coming over the hill and in the evening I would take a drive as well. During the rest of the day as I go about my usual day, I would pick a spot I would want to go to that evening or the next morning when the sun is on the barn or field at the right time. Also, I am prepared usually with old clothing and shoes to walk out into a pasture with cows or a rural cornfield to capture the right angle of a barn or animal or skyline...I also don't mind asking homeowners if I can go on their property to take a picture of their old truck or car...they usually don't mind. Sometimes, I quietly sneak on the property and sneak off quickly after capturing the shot and hoping not to get shot.... Probably not a good thing but it's been done. I don't have fancy equipment at all and I've never taken a lesson...but I like to capture things of yesteryear to preserve what once was...old rusty cars and tractors and old fallen barns that were once a part of America back in the day... I want to preserve them through my photographs unfortunately the paying job gets in the way especially in the late Fall and winter months when I arrive and leave work in the dark...that bothers me the most because there are sooo many opportunities for photographs in these months where I live...sad, very sad.
