On many old buildings, one finds advertising that was done for a one time cost for locals to see. This particular sign was on a building in downtown Hope, Arkansas and had been redone a few times. Notice the price of 5 cents! Ah, I remember when one could get a soft drink for a nickel! Times were indeed simpler and slower. These old signs always offer me a reminder that sometimes one just needs to slow down and enjoy a moment in time.
