In this particular spot at Lake Tyler (Tyler, TX), there were five deer who nonchalantly grazed and occasionally looked at me. Less than 1-4 mile down the road, I found 3 more deer in the front yard of a residence. Most of this area is a no hunt zone, so the deer are almost tame! I felt that given a few visits, they would eat out of my hand. Beautiful, graceful animals.
