In a once bustling town of Jamestown in the northern portion of Smith County, TX, I found this swing hanging from a large tree behind the old Jamestown Cafe. Not much is left of the community other than the old cafe, a church, and a few houses. But, this just caught my eye as a reminder of when life was simpler; when one could find pleasure in sitting in a swing with one's favorite gal.
