Location
This photo was taken on a cold snowy camping trip I took with friends. Location undisclosed but about 45 miles from my house. Was a spur of the moment camping trip dead of winter. But well worth it. The structure has since burned in one of the many wildfires we have had I recent years.Time
Was taken about noon as the wind died down someLighting
Nothing special just a snowy cloudy day in the mountains by a decrepit falling down cabin.Equipment
I believe it was taken with eather my old Canon PowerShot sx100 is or my old Canon PowerShot sx20isInspiration
Inspiration was it was snowy, it was there, and I loved the contrast of the wood in the snow.Editing
None.In my camera bag
Typically a point and shoot camera. Nothing to fancy. I don't think I've spent more than $500 on any camera I own.Feedback
Look for angles. Don't be afraid to be creative. Some of the best shots are also some of the simplest. Look for branches and things that frame a shot.
