How wonderful to have your "SPECTACULAR PHOTOGRAPY" as the first comment to this compositon. It really is strong both in colors and the distinct outline of the butte. I must give credit for this photo to the Arizona bright sun, upon seeing this scene who could walk by with making a photo?

Thanks! I love the white spot under the peak of the butte because it highlights the whole composition and draws ones eyes to it. The rock face sloughing off revelaing the natural unstained rock underneath made this strikingly stunning white area.

Amazing photo. Arizona sure does have some wonderful photo opportunities, and you captured one of them so beautifully

Arizona sure has many beautiful places and I'm learning that one needs to be at the same location for an entire day to take advantage of the changes in lighting. Thanks for the "Superior Skill" peer recognition.

Who would have thought oxidation (rust) could look so good. Thanks very much for the vote.
