Location
I took it at the Eilean Donan Castle in Dornie, Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland. I took it while on Vacation with my aunt, cousin, and sister.Time
I remember pulling into the parking lot and jumping out to quickly walk up to the walkway railing and snap some pictures. I took it at 11:53 am on September 6, 2014.Lighting
I had no education in lighting, composition, or anything that deals with amazing photography and didn't really learn anything until February 2015.Equipment
I used my iPhone 5s held in my hands with no flash.Inspiration
My family and I were on our way to the Isle of Skye one morning and the owners of a cafe we stopped at recommended that we stop to take a picture because it's such a lovely location.Editing
Nope! No editing or anything done to this photo. In my camera bag
My iPhone 5s in 2014 and 2015 but at the beginning of this year I updated to the iPhone 6s. I occasionally take a few pictures with my Canon AE-1.Feedback
The beauty of beautiful locations is that even when you have zero experience, you can still take fabulous photos. When I uploaded this photo to ViewBug, I had no idea that it would get the acknowledgments it has received. If the subject is aesthetically pleasing and your camera is in focus, go for it! Take that picture, who knows where it will go!
