I was a videographer at a wedding, when I saw the groom holding the bouquet in a room, practicing his vows, that he had written. Talking to the bouquet like it was his new wife, I shot some video and then noticed that the light was perfect, so also started snapping. When he had finished I grabbed this shot, a closeup of the centerpiece of the bouquet.Time
It was mid afternoon, shot in a small room with a thin white curtain that gave it a beautiful feel.Lighting
The thin curtain acted as a huge diffuser and gave me great lighting.Equipment
This shot - hand held - with no other equipment than my video purposed DSLR ... Camera: NIKON D3200 Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125Inspiration
After watching the groom, and the way he was talking to it for his vows, it made me really look at the bouquet at that moment...It was a powerful moment, for him, and me.Editing
This image has been cropped and the vibrancy increase subtly. In my camera bag
Nikon for me! Nikon D700 & Nikon D3200. Both for video and stills. Manfrotto tripods. 3 Nikon lens. 50mm prime. 18-70mm & 70-200mm. YONGNUO Flash with a set of correction lenses and reflector.Feedback
The large window with the "big" diffuser - it made the shot. Right place Right time.
