“Fall Aspen Road”
Afternoon Light
Gold Run Road
Miners Road
Breckenridge, Colorado

The old Gold Run Trail Road ran from the gold mines outside of Breckenridge to the town ore crushers in the 1800’s on French Creek. The trail is now popular for hiking and biking. This shot is between the junctions of Boreas pass and Gold Run which are one and the same trail running from Tiger to Como, Colorado from Breckenridge, Colorado.

This shot captures the feeling of an afternoon hike with the heat on your shoulders and no cares in the world. A dry summer with no rain leads to only yellow colors but on wet summers, you can have all the colors of the leaf show up from crimsons to magentas and from vivid yellows to pumpkin orange.
