Checked out the weather conditions days before to make sure there would be no wind its a shot I always wanted to get.It won a big prize in one of the major newspapers in IrelandEditing
I took 3 different exposed jpegs and merged them in photomatix to produce this image making sure not to go overboard on the HDR effect trying to make is as natural as possibleIn my camera bag
My Fuji S9500 camera is long gone I now shoot with a Nikon d300 and sigma 10-20 for my landscape shots along with Lee and nd grad filters.I also use a Fuji xe1 with a few Fuji prime lensesFeedback
Put in the time and you will be rewarded with some nice shots as most people will know shooting landscapes you need to be up early or out late to capture that wonderful light
