Location
This shot was taken in a local park outside dublin city.Time
It was taken about 11am it was a dull overcast day which i knew would be good for a long exposure shot.Lighting
I found this little waterfall hidden in a forest it looks bigger because of the wide angle lens i used i knew it would look good with a long exposure on the water.Equipment
A fuji XA-1 camera which is an entry level camera to fuji also used the kit lens 16-50 lens. dont let that fool you both are excellent and lots of people even prefer the bayer sensor of the XA-1 camera to the usual X -Trans sensor.I didnt have a tripod with me so i rested the camera on a rock with a hoya polariser filter on and set the timer. This is the shot with just a little edit.Inspiration
I always have a camera with me so everything and anything inspires me to take a photo.Editing
It was shot in Raw which was then sharpened in silkypix which comes free with fuji cameras i then desaturated some of the colours in elements 7.In my camera bag
Most of my work has been with a nikon D300 camera and a Sigma 10-20 lens which i still use but i find the fuji mirrorless cameras of which i have an XA-1 and XE-1 to be excellent and so small for carrying around, also the fuji lenses are fantastic. 35mm,27mm 16-50,Feedback
To get shots like this you really need to shoot on an overcast day with low light and use a tripod and filters, also a shutter release cable.remote or your timer will cut out any camera shake for such long exposures
