So I was down at the primary beaver pond , and as I started on the trail between the trees on the embankment, I almost walked into a jeuvenile eagle who was standing in the underbrush eating something. The worst part of all was that the area was so dark!! Couldn't he have found a spot with better lighting so that I could get a decent photo. \lol
