If you wonder why that is my moniker, it is because there are lots of bears that visit my backyard. Although we live in a busy cit, because we live at the base of a bluff, it is a natural corridor to the Coquitlam river which is only 3 blocks away. On this day, this particular mama bear decided my pet cemetary would be an awesome spot to sit and have a break while her 3 jeuvenille cubs played in my backyard. One thing that makes my photography harder to do is that it's not like I can just open the sliding glass door to take the pictures. LOL!!

Just be cautious and careful and a long lens helps as well. Welcome to Viewbug, Linda.

Thanks. Mama bear has never knocked on my door, but the baby bear cubs did!! on my sliding glass patio door.LOL! Luckily most bears are shy and will leave if you make some noise.
