Lines, colors and detail all work. Hope you do not mind a critique-the image has a slight tilt to the right so it is not level and this is easily fixed or maybe you wanted it that way. Still a nice image.

Location
Primary Doors was taken in Tampa across from Curtis Hixon Park. I often frame up the mundane things in life and then turn with some help from lightroom and photoshop create my vision. This shot was an example of seeing the final product before I processed it.Time
It was taken in the early aftenoon. We had just parked our car and I looked up and saw the doors, and I framed them up and it was the begining of my vision.Lighting
There was nothing special about the lighting...The sun was starting to go down which sweetened the light a little, but it was shot with available light.Equipment
A 7D with my 70-200L lens.Inspiration
The yellow and blue door along with the red fire escape caught my eye. I knew I could turn this in an image with impact if I just boosted the saturation up a bit on the doors to make them pop.Editing
I did turn an ordinary capture into a more graphic image with the help of Photoshop. I first boosted the structure some in the plug viveza. Next I quick selected each door and using the color adjust tool boosted up the saturation until the yellow and blue were really complimenting each other. I added a posterization effect filter, too.In my camera bag
In my bag I always have my Canon 5D mark 3 a 28-70 is my go too lens but my 70-200L lens is all time favorite . Lately I have another favorite lens. My Tamron 90ml f 2 macro lens. Then I also carry neutral density filters, a polarizer and my flash..I always bring a tripod and a cable release and of course some lens tissue.Feedback
Watch your framing. Balance and symmetry also play an important part in graphic images such as this one. Look for bright and complimentary colors. They will make your image pop.
