Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken in Shrewsbury, UK in the famous quarry.

Time

It was mid afternoon.

Lighting

Well the lighting was ok but flat so processed with more contrast and dark edges.

Equipment

Nikon d200 sigma 24-70 mm f2.8

Inspiration

Usually the quarry is packed with walkers but this day it was cold and foggy and saw this walker walking away from me and the trees were framing the image really well.

Editing

Yes converted to black and white, and slid the contrast bar up.

In my camera bag

I now have a Nikon d800, my sigma 24-70, and my Nikon 50mm

Feedback

If it's a nice gloomy foggy day then try going to a place with trees and where people walk.
