The photo was taken on a Park. The fly was on a trashcan and it allow me to get so close to take this amazing image with so much detail. I'm a self trained and enthusiast photographer.Time
This picture was taken about 9:30am, I was walking on the park with my camera ready to catch any insect or spider. Flies are great, they have nice colors, bodies with so many details and there are many different types.Lighting
Most of the time I use a Macro Ring Flash, with this I'm able to take pictures on low light conditions.Equipment
This picture was taken hand held. Most of the time I'm chasing insects and spiders and it is hard and sometime impossible to use tripod. I only use tripod when I take with stacking technique. My camera is a Nikon D7000 with a Tokina Macro Pro 100 lens and with a Macro Ring Flash.Inspiration
I love to take Macro photos, because it allow persons to see an amazing world not visible without magnification. I can show people how beautiful are little things and it feels nice when I see people reactions while they discover how insects and spiders really are.Editing
Most of the time I only make color and white balance corrections. In my camera bag

To take macro photos you have to be patience, use slow movements, have a sharp eye to see little things, your clothes will get dirty and sometimes even tear.
