I captured this scene in Chester County, PA.Time
It was around 7:30 in the morning.Lighting
The sun was on the rise but this lake tucked away in a small valley providing some soft light.Equipment
I used my Nikon D50, 18-55mm lens, no flash.Inspiration
I always have my gear with me as I never want to miss an opportunity to capture a good shot. What caught my eye was the small splash of color behind the shed reflecting off the water. It was a good contrast of bland and pop.Editing
I basically adjusted the sat levels and sharpened it a bit. No other edits were necessary.In my camera bag

I am a big believer in having your gear with you at all times. Many times you will happen upon a situation that will never present itself again ( see my image “Hobo”). If for some reason you happen upon a scene but don’t have your gear, make a mental note of the location and go back at a later date and capture it!
