I took this photo in my bedroom. It was really not staged or anything. It just so happen that I was holding my camera hoping to find a good subject. I was going back to my room to fetch something when I saw my cousin rummaging through my make ups which is located near the window where my mirror hanged. And just like that I saw the good lighting and the pattern of my curtains.Time
As i can remember, it was around 2 in the afternoon. I was totally bored that day and I couldn't find a subject and inspirations . I was experimenting and trying something which I learned from my previous photography class.Lighting
Well, my room is sort of dark and I have only one window which is directly located where the sun is at its highest, that's why I usually use a dark curtains. And when I unfastened my curtains, the light literally shows the patterns of my curtains and I love to play with it. That's why the when the model is standing, the lines lead to her, and making it more dramatic by changing it into black and white.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon EOS 1100D, f/5.6, ISO: 3200. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
I was just trying the leading lines concept. As i've mentioned this photo was really not intended. It was just accidental.Editing
Just changing it to black and white. No other post processing edit.In my camera bag
I only have my camera. No other equipment. No other special equipment since I am short on a budget, and a newbie in this field, and I believe that talent and skill plus great opportunity will make a good photos.Feedback
I would pretty much advice that lighting is your bestfriend. The natural ,the better. More practice and see ordinary things in a extraordinary ways. Shoot in colors so that you can turn it into monochrome later, than shooting in monochrome right away.. you can never have a chance on making it into colored photos.
