Gorgeous shot. Looks like a place to sit and enjoy some saki and contemplate the snow.

Location
I took this photo in Kyoto, Japan. It is a photo of Gold Pavilion.Time
This was shot in afternoon. It was heavy snow day, so I had to stand and wait till snow clams down.Lighting
Not really.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 5D MK III with canon 16-35mm f2.8 mk iiInspiration
The Gold Pavilion is one of the simbol of Japanese beauty and history. It doesn't get cover with snow that often, so I had to capture it when I saw snow.Editing
Basic color correction using lightroom. In my camera bag
I typically carry 3 lenses: 70-200, 16-35mm and 35mm. Polarizer is must as wellFeedback
Be patient! I think that patient is one of the most important part of capturing beautiful photos. This place was packed with tourists, and it was snowing heavily. I had to stand and wait for at least 30 minutes to find perfect moment. Wait and snap, snap, snap!
