Location
It was taken at my garden. A very little ladybug moved around on an arun flower. The red color poping up from the bright white flower.Time
It was mid afternoon, but the place was at the shadow.Lighting
It was taken with the available light. As it was at a shadowy place I used 400 ISO.Equipment
I used a 10 years old Pentax K20D, 15 megapixels, at manual and a Pentax 50 mm 1:2.8 macro lens,Inspiration
Composition is what mostly I like at photography. Here I took several pictures and waited the insect to be at an interesting spot. This was the one I liked the most. The diagonal composition, the little bug at a strong point of the frame.Editing
I allways do some post-processing work. It's essential for correct light, contrast and colors or for turn the subject more accurate. Here I turned all the photo into monochrome excepted the ladybug in order to make her to pop up.In my camera bag
I use a 10 years old Pentax K20D, 15 megapixels, allways at manual. Sometimes use a tripod mainly for macro work. Pentax 50 mm 1:2.8 macro, Pentax 16-45 1:4 and Tamron 28-300 mm 1:3.5-6.3 macro are the lens I most use.Feedback
Allways carry a camera. The good subject or moment can appear when you don't expect it. Be focused, your years wide open and look what is or happens around you. Bad weather isn't time to put back the camera, rain or fog are potencial great times to shoot nice photo works.
