Great perspective. Love how the feathers feel like an extension of the clouds.

Location
I took this at a Pow Wow in Post Falls, Idaho.Time
Late afternoon, maybe about 5 p.m.Lighting
This was just natural daylight.Equipment
Sony Nex-6, 17-55mm lens. The camera has an in-camera HDR which I used.Inspiration
The sky was beautiful on the day of the Pow Wow, and the Native American walked across my path, about 75 feet away. I took about 250 photos on the day of the Pow Wow.Editing
The most significant post-processing here was the cropping. Under this scene were grandstands with lots of people as well as tents, etc. I cropped that out and it accentuated the streaky clouds. Any other post-processing was use of "sharpening" in iphoto. In my camera bag
Sony Nex-6, 17-55mm, 14mm, 50-200mm and fish-eye lens. On an event like this I don't carry my bag at all. I just had the camera with the 17-55mm lens.Feedback
See potential in your original shot when it comes time to cropping. Sad tale to tell: I have inadvertently deleted this photo from my photo library.....lost forever.
