This picture was taken in a small cabin next to a lake near Bogota (Colombia) called Tominé. This was Kate's first lingerie photoshoot, and the beauty of this wonderful place, in the middle of a beautiful forest, help her relax end enjoy every moment.Time
This picture was taken around noon, on a very cold and grey day. I was walking around her, and finally I climbed on a small chair, got her attention with some small "chit chat", and got this beautiful image of her.Lighting
Being her first lingerie photoshoot I wanted her to be relax, so I just took my camera, a flash head, and rebound it to the wooden ceiling. Also I had a beautiful window, but like I said before, the day was very dark, very grey, and WAY too cold...Equipment
Sony A77, one of my favourites every day lenses (18-250), a Sony HVL-F58AM flash unit, handheld, and a very seductive voice...Inspiration
I want to capture Kate's natural sensuality and a very seductive way, and before the actual shooting, in a preproduction meeting, she told me that one of her most beautiful fantasies was to pose in a very feminine and seductive black lingerie set, so I bought this set and surprise her as soon as we arrived to the cabin. She was so excited about it that we started with that set right away...Editing
Just a little bit on her skin, because that day her face was a little irritated...In my camera bag
Usually I carry my Sony A77ii with the 18-250 lense on it, a 50mm and a 135 mm lenses, a flash gun, MANY memory cards (I ALWAYS shoot RAW and JPG), 6 extra batteries for my camera, at least 3 sets of batteries for the flash gun, different kind of filters, a carbon fibre tripod, some clamps, different kinds of tapes, a wifi external hard drive, my 15" MacBook Pro, a portable soft box for the flash gun, a gps and a "bad weather kit"...Feedback
Every time I setup a photoshoot with a model I try to spend some time with her before the actual day, so we can know each other a little bit. On every picture I want the model to look so natural, that the only way to achieve that is if the model really trust you and feel confortable around you... You HAVE to communicate with your model, you HAVE to feel whatever she's feeling, you MUST show her your professionalism no matter what, and you MUST tell her your expectations before the actual shooting and before every picture so she can be ready and prepared for it.
