The spiral photo contest started the inspiration for this composition. In researching spiral photographs online it immediately became apparent that most did not have a human interest element to them.
This is my effort to add the human, our favorite tool the camera and a simple natural spiral. The symbol for the Playboy Bunny Club was just a fortunate or unfortunate discovery.
This macro photo was taken in natural light with the shell placed on a magnifying mirror. The shell had been soaked in water to bring out the color. Editing included rule of thirds cropping and High Dynamic Range software enhancement.
One person stated this looks like someone glued a shell to a lens cover and then took this photo with another camera.
