This photo was taken in my living room mid day with drapes closed.Time
I took this mid day.Lighting
Living room was darkened by blinds. Our dog Sidney was backdropped with black blanket and another one on the floor.Equipment
I shot this with A nikon D600 using a 24-120mm Nikon lens. Setting 1/200 f16 ISO640 I used f16 to make sure the black blankets would stay black. I used a strobe flash set in a chair so it was close to floor.Inspiration
The final Photo was used on my desktop image for my iPhone. I had to add additional black to top above dog for proper sizing on iPhone screen.. On my iPhone's first screen I only have enough icons to fill 60% of the top and Sidney now always shows on the bottom partEditing
I used Photoshop to make proper canvas size and added the black area above Sidney.In my camera bag
