Located on the porch of "The Watchman's House" built by the Webb Family in 1891 in Reliance, Tennessee. The house was built adjacent to the railraod tracts to for the new L&N Railroad. The house sits atop a hill where the tracks are just below and looks out to a grassy field with the Hiawasee River flowing at the base. Since the train would have to cross a wooden bridge and at that time, the engine was coal-fired, the railroad watchman would be responsible to keep an eye out for any smoke coming from bridge and if so, dowse the fire to prevent damage to the bridge and tracts. The house still stands, has been renovated and there are 4 rooms that can be rented on a nightly basis.
