My camera, on this occasion, was a Canon 5D which has no built in flash, when we unexpectedly came across this leopard in the Botswana bush. I did not have a flash with me, as we had not planned on being out late at night. One of my friends had a spotlight trained on the leopard. I upped the ISO and took my chances ending up with this result. The only other light we had were stars, shining like jewels in the night sky and the moon. The leopard was up on a branch in a tree.

Good lighting on the tongue, we can see the blood on its fur, nice with the black background. Good work!
