Location
The portrait was taken at a house blessing i was at in a small village, North East Thailand..Time
This was taken early afternoon about 1.30pmLighting
It was a bright day,but where i was standing was in some shade from the sunlight.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony NEX 5N with 18 - 55m lens on manual at 28m 1/200sec: f5Inspiration
The man rode up on his bike to offer his congratulations to the family..When i saw his face i thought how wonderfully age, and those life lines were..I took two shots..He only stayed for a minute and them he was gone..Editing
I enhanced the face features to bring out the details. In my camera bag
I always travel light hate being load down,so that why i love mirror less cameras..Just a kit lens and 16m wide lens for some landscapes..And spare battery.Feedback
I metered off my hand in the shadow and waited for him to lean in to the shade..Using center metering.
