Location
The photo was taken in Germany, in a little nice town Münster (where I'm currently living). This piano looks like it felt out of the window of the Münster Music Conservatory building behind (where I'm currently studying), but was actually installed there a couple of years ago as an art object, and became a visit card of the Concervatory. Now there's no more piano, but only a frame in a piano shape.Time
It was after midday...Lighting
That day was warm and sunny, and I just pressed a bottom on my camera. The sun was bright enough for the fine image, and I did not even think about light.Equipment
My good fellow Canon PowerShot G15 is often with me, when I'm walking. That time it was by my side too.Inspiration
When I saw the piano, I just can't pass by. Because piano is my true love, and I think, that the best object to capture is that one, that the photographer loves.Editing
I usually make a little post-processing on my RAW photos. Depending on the result, that I want to get, I check carefully the colours of the picture, the contrast, the warmth, the brightness etc. I use a simple editing programm, that Canon provides for my camera, and it works. On this photo I was working mainly with colours of the single elements of the picture: green for leaves of the tree, blue - for reflection of sky in the windows, red - for bricks. I made the colour of leaves darker, cause it was pretty shiny, and I turned the control of yellow, so that the green became cooler. And I just used the contrast control for reaching the brightness, that made the photo vividly, just as I wanted to have it.In my camera bag
I usually take my little Canon PowerShot G15 for a walk or travel. It's compact and light, so I can easily take it whithout having a trouble with carriyng it.Feedback
First of all, every photo have to be visually pleasant. Different photographers have different styles - someone likes to capture a particular moment, someone tries to catch the best sight of the place. Someone looks for geometry in a picture. Or for a deep sence, that a photograph can carry. Important is the idea, that every single photo visuallize something. Something, that the photographer wants to memorize, to save, to take out of time and bring to people. Through the art of photography.
