Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in my very own studio, which is my bedroom.Time
This photo was taken on 27th December 2013. It is just a normal night for me.Lighting
I took a full advantage of the candle's light itself, the light turns out to be really nice. Anyway, what's the use of candle if it didn't light the dark up?Equipment
For this picture, I used an apple device, ipod touch 5th generation, which have a macro lens mounted on it.Inspiration
My father once said "to be a teacher is to behave like a candle.Even when you knew you're dying, you will give your best in lighting up the dark that the future generation of our children might have.Be a candle, dying in doing a great deeds." My father is a teacher and once i had ambition to be just like him,to be a teacher but things change and now i am studying engineering in University Of Auckland.Editing
Yes,of course!! This picture was processed by a really well known, award winning apps, that is Mextures. I used a few filter that is available in the apps to give a new mood for this picture.MEXTURES by Merek Davis is a really great apps and trust me that it's really worth it to buy this apps for photo editing.Like seriously, this man deserves an award to develop such an apps. NEVER HAS BEAUTIFUL BEEN SO EASY.In my camera bag
There will be my canon EOS 550D,kit lens 18-55mm,prime lens 50mm f1:8,and my new lens ,canon ef-s 10-18mm,a tripod, filters and my ipod touch 5th gen.Feedback
To be honest,I am an amateur, which is still learning to get a perfect photo like many professional photographer did.As an amateur,we don't need to be afraid to express ourselves and we need a lot of exposure. To get a good exposure is to try to capture a lot of pictures(like a lot, really!!) From this,we can know our weakness and if there is any wrongdoing in capturing a good picture. (sorry if this is not a good advice because i feel like don't deserve to give any advice) Thank you VIEWBUG!! regards, Hazril.
