This photo is taken in my home town, Columbus, Georgia in a park called "Flat Rock Park". Flat Rock Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the Columbus, Georgia for photographic opportunities.Time
The photo was taken just in the late afternoon, during the Fall of 2012.Lighting
Since the photo was taken in the late afternoon, I was catching less harsh light. But the most important was the beautiful colors at this time of the day that was striking to me.Equipment
The camera I used was a Canon T3 with a 18 - 55 mm lens, with no tripod.Inspiration
Looking at this during the Fall was the most striking, along with the Fall colors. When I saw this before taking the photo, yes; what a great opportunity. This is what inspired to take this shot why'll the colors was in full, along the bridge in the foreground.Editing
Yes, only little post-processing was done, but only in the colors and the exposure areas only.In my camera bag
My camera equipment consists of Canon T3, with these lens Canon 18-55mm lens, Canon Phoenix 100-400mm lens, Canon EFS 55-250mm lens with image stablization, Canon 75-300mm, Canon Sigma Macro 28-80mm lens.Feedback
The best way to capture landscape photography, is better to use early morning sunlight or late afternoon or early evening at the golden hour. At these time of day you can use the narrowest aperatures and also the slow shutter speeds as well. But when you use these settings, it is better to use a tripod for better clarity and less shake of the camera. This photo was taken at late afternoon during the Fall, but I was able to use hand held, and still got good enough expoure, along with image stabelization. Just remember you can get good landscape photo's with hand-held, but its better to use a tripod if you use slower shutter speeds.
