Location
"The Chapel at Callaway Gardens" is taken at Callaway Gardens, located near Pine Mountain, Georgia, which is about 30 minutes north of Columbus, Georgia, and about an hour south of Atlanta, Georgia. The Chapel is located in the Callaway Gardens property, which is operated by the Callaway Family which lives in Georgia, between the towns of Columbus, and Lagrange, Georgia.Time
The photo is taken closed to Mid-day, about lunch, which is a very bright sunny day.Lighting
Since the photo was taken in bright harsh sunlight, which is during the mid-day. I was glad that I had plenty of shade of mask off the harsh bight sunlight, which will flood out the beautiful highlights of the building itself, and its surroundings. The angle of view, also gave me the best reflection on the water as well. Technically, this is one of my most favorite photo's, even this photo gave me some inspiration to do more, and it is worth it.Equipment
Camera used is a Canon T3, with a Canon 18 - 55mm at 34mm at ISO 100 at f/16 with 1/25 sec exposure. The shot was taken hand-held, with no tripod or flash.Inspiration
What inspired me to get this shot, is the reflection of the Chapel on the water, and I thought that would be a great shot. Taking reflection shots, is very beautiful to me, and it gives me inspiration to do more, even when I take early morning sunrise shots as well as late evening sunset shots as well. I love using the morning photography, as well as sunset evening shots, this is my best time to out go.Editing
With this photo, I did not post-processing.In my camera bag
Canon T3, T3i, Canon 18 - 55 mm Lens, for landscape photography, 75 - 250 Canon Lens, and other additional lens. The less I carry, the more photo's I can take.Feedback
The best thing to do, is look at your surroundings and the lighting you have available, you can use your ISO and your exposure to compensate for dark and light shadows. But remember to watch out for blow out highlights, but you can also use Photoshop to correct the problems, but its best to correct the problem why'll taking the photo.
